How to Delete Directly in the Mobile App
If you still have the Tosi mobile app installed on your Android or iOS device, you can delete your account immediately from within the app:
Open the App & Sign In
Launch the Tosi app on your device and ensure you are signed in to the account you want to remove.
Go to Profile / Account
Tap the Account or Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Select "Delete Account"
Scroll down to the Security & Privacy section and tap Delete Account.
Confirm Deletion
Review the warning prompt and confirm your request. Your session will immediately end and your data will be queued for scrub.
What Happens to Your Data
In adherence to Google Play Store requirements and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023), here is the precise breakdown of data deleted versus data retained:
- Personal Identity: Your full name, telephone number, email, and avatar picture.
- Delivery Addresses: All saved home, office, and hostel drop-off addresses and GPS pins in Ogbomosho.
- Authentication Credentials: All active mobile session tokens, Sanctum keys, and OTP records.
- Cart & Favorites: Active shopping baskets and saved restaurant favorites.
- Financial & Tax Invoices: Past completed order receipts, delivery fees, and merchant payout records are retained for up to 6 years in accordance with Nigerian tax and financial record-keeping laws.
- Fraud Prevention & Audit Logs: Cryptographic transaction hashes and security dispute audit logs are archived with your personal name and contact details completely anonymized.
Processing Timeline & Cancellation
Immediate: You will be logged out of all active mobile and web sessions immediately upon deletion confirmation.
Grace Period: You may cancel a web deletion request within 48 hours by contacting support before our automated scrubbing batch executes.
Permanent Purge: All personal database rows, backups, and caches are irreversibly purged within 30 calendar days.
